Orosháza-Gyopárosfürdő – Pearl of the Plains

     

Gyopárosfürdő, also called the Pearl of the Puszta, features indoors and outdoors therapeutic- and thermal water pools,
swimming pools, and the Southern Plains’ one-of-a-kind pleasure bath complex. It also has a wide range of sports and fitness services, a medicinal center, and countless possibilities offered by the Gyopáros lake-system—which is also suitable for row boating—all for the benefit of visitors seeking treatment, relaxation and rejuvenation. Noted to aid the swift healing of wounds, the Gyopáros lakes were once referred to as the “miracle lakes.” Today, due to its sodium content, their thermal water is primarily used for the relief of gynecological disorders; because of its iodine content, of rheumatic and locomotor diseases; and for its high calcium, magnesium and hydrogen-carbonate content, that of circulatory diseases.
